Partial and Complete Dentures
These appliances can be removed by the patient. Partial dentures are less expensive that bridges or implants but they are less aesthetic, not as comfortable to wear and promote decay and gums disease especially when hygiene is less than excellent.
Complete dentures are made of a high imact acrylic. Partial dentures can be made of acrylic or acrylic and metal.
Partial and complete dentures can be anchored by implants. This a big advantage especially in the lower jaw where dentures tend to "float".
